I have to give credit to Donna-FFW, from "My Tasty Treasures" for inspiring me to bake this recipe for my family. I made a few changes-- instead of a cake, I grabbed my giant muffin pan. I ended up doubling the batter, so make six muffins. It's a good thing that I did, because my husband and son were sniffing the air and getting very anxious to eat these treats.
I'm not kidding when I say that my husband was staring at me as I grabbed each muffin to put on the cooling rack. He waited a total of sixty seconds, before grabbing one and slathering on butter. Just the thought of photographing his prized muffin was met with a glare.
These are very good, and super easy to make. I posted my recipe version with a doubling of ingredients for the topping-- it was that good!
